During the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, it is invaluable to surround yourself with mentors who inspire you. But it is often hard to find world-class entrepreneurs who have the time and inclination to mentor you personally. The knowledge of those who have gone before is critical so that you do not repeat history’s mistakes. So what do you do if you are just starting out and are looking for direction? You could turn to TED Talks or inspiring YouTube videos, but there a renaissance going on in podcasting right now that you shouldn’t miss. Podcasting has been around for a long time, but in the last couple years the audience has tripled to 75 million listeners and the quality of content has increased significantly. The rise of smartphones combined with the daily commute and the terrible decline in radio has given podcasting a boost. With hosts like Tim Ferriss and Kevin Rose interviewing people like David Copperfield and Elon Musk … podcasting is finally starting to go mainstream. There is a lot of great entrepreneurial podcasts right now, so I thought I’d help you narrow down where to get started by pointing out 10 of my favorite and most inspiring podcast episodes. Remember, however, that you should never just follow advice blindly. You always need to apply it to your situation and modify as necessary. That said, almost every entrepreneur I know can benefit from listening.
Every single one of these podcast episodes is packed with quality and has added depth and value to my life. (Learn More) --- YOUR FEEDBACK on this story is always welcome! iqcountryclub@gmail.com ---

Some of the training courses we talk about on this site offer affiliate marketing programs meaning, if you buy from them we are paid a commission. Nothing you will see on this page was chosen for that reason. If we believe in the program, we added it to the site. Our long term reputation for excellence is far more valuable to us than any short term commissions we might earn from a sale. If you are not 100% satisfied with any vendor, please let us know. We can make that vendor disappear faster than we were able to add them. Jim Vaughan, Editor
