No Matter How Hard It Gets

The best way to grow is to overcome life's challenges, regardless of how difficult that situation may be. Steve Jobs was fired from Apple, the company he created. He later said, at the time,  he didn't understand it was the best thing that could ever have
happened to him. Being fired forced him to outgrow a plateau of being too comfortable with his level of achievements. Most of us who have been forced to face unwelcome circumstances in our lives have survived as a much stronger person. Sometimes, there are major life lessons you're not likely to learn any other way. While you're in the middle of bad weather in your like, keep reminding yourself, Everything Is Temporary!

The Four Stages of Learning
Picture
Ben Tristem
A lot of people can’t find the learning resources they need, and have the perfect perspective to teach – the beginner’s perspective. However, we believe that we must be accomplished, educated, or decorated in order to
teach a topic. I’m here to challenge that with my personal story. I maintain that, with the right approach, teaching can be the highest form of learning. In these changing times the world needs more outstanding teachers than ever. Teaching as a way of learning may be your route to mastery, whilst simultaneously helping 1000s of other people along the way.
The Four Stages of Learning - (Wikipedia)
  1. Unconscious incompetence
The individual does not understand or know how to do something and does not necessarily recognize the deficit. They may deny the usefulness of the skill. The individual must recognize their own incompetence, and the value of the new skill, before moving on to the next stage.[2] The length of time an individual spends in this stage depends on the strength of the stimulus to learn.[3]
  2. Conscious incompetence
Though the individual does not understand or know how to do something, he or she does recognize the deficit, as well as the value of a new skill in addressing the deficit. The making of mistakes can be integral to the learning process at this stage.[4]
  3. Conscious competence
The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires concentration. It may be broken down into steps, and there is heavy conscious involvement in executing the new skill.[3]
  4. Unconscious competence
The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it has become "second nature" and can be performed easily. As a result, the skill can be performed while executing another task. The individual may be able to teach it to others, depending upon how and when it was learned.

(NOTE) From a buyer;'s point of view, the big unspoken question is always, 'What's in it for me?" Some people will buy from you to satisfy a need however, many more people will buy from you to satisfy a want. Understanding the prospect's need will help you sell. Understanding the prospect's wants will help you sell even more.

(AFTER THOUGHT) Someday, a motivational speaker will come along

with the talent to effectively communicate to each and everyone of us, that we were all born and still have a no-limit brain that will create for you, any size dream you can imagine. The trick is to totally ignore every BS limitation smaller minded people have inflicted on you since the day you were born and the uncertainties you, all by yourself, have created in your own mind, you will be an unstoppable achiever. Learn the skill of learning, it is the beginning of building a financial security blanket around you and all those you care about. As you convert your knowledge into actions and activities that CAUSE SUCCESS you will be on a one man - one woman success journey that will take you to the best places life has to offer. When I talk about 'the best places', I'm talking about the total,. unbridled FREEDOM to be the person you, in your heart of hearts, have always wanted to be. Life is ---not--- a dress rehearsal. You only get one shot at the game of life. Past attempts at doing something that didn't work out don't mean anything. The only question is, did you get up again and ask, What's next?"
I want to grow into a motivational speaker that has mastered that level of skill. (Jim Vaughan)
