Time & Activity Management
(Jim Vaughan) As a teenager I read, "The more time you budget to be successful, the more likely you will succeed." Over the last 50 years, I have observed that most people's idea of long range thinking is next Friday's paycheck. Sad but, true. We live in a society with a microwave mentality. "If I have to wait more than a few minutes for something to happen, it takes too long." In 10-20-30 years from today, is "the future you" going to be grateful that you spent today doing what you did? Did you learn something new that will improve all the tomorrows of your life? Did you start a new activity that you can turn into a habit that will automate the process of improving all the tomorrows of your life? Only you get to choose what you think about. Only you can plan for your life to turn out to be your dream life. Only you can do whatever it takes for you to be all that you can be. Every individual day in your life is a building block for a better future. Use your time wisely. Life is not a dress rehearsal, you only get to come to this party one time. JV
